If you are like most golfers then you hardly have the time to go out and get some golf swing exercise or any other exercises done. If truth be told, it is difficult enough getting the time for a round of golf.
And so it gets pretty discouraging when modern day experts insist that there is no way that one can improve their game with putting in plenty of golf exercises. Especially exercise routines that have something to do with the golf swing.
The good news is that not all is lost. There are quite a number of golf exercises that you can get done without leaving the comfort of your home or office. The kind of exercises we are talking about here are pretty effective and yet can be done when you have a moment right there at your work station or even as you watch the box in your home seated on your most comfortable rocking chair.
Many people do not realize it, but most of the really helpful golf exercises are stretch exercises and many do not require any equipment.
So what you need to do is create the time in-between your work at the office and more frequently at home as you are relaxing at the end of a hard day and you will soon notice a remarkable improvement in your golf swing. The idea is to do the exercises as frequently as you can so that you make them a habit and part of your day, without you having to put in any thought about them.
A valuable backswing exercise
The backswing is a very critical part of the golf swing and an area where many golf players have a problem. Little wonder that the following exercise has helped many to spectacularly improve on their drive.
If you a right handed golfer extend your left arm out in front of you in a handshake position. Your thumb should be pointing up, skywards. Next take your right hand and out it under your left wrist so that the backs of your hands are touching each other. Now pull with your right hand against your left wrist and make as a big a turn on your back swing motion as you possibly can. Try and hold the furthest position you get to for at least 15 seconds. Repeat the routine a few times and then take a break and do the same exercise again later.
After a few days of this routine, observe the magical change that comes to your backswing. But don't stop keep on doing this golf swing exercise whenever you can.
